1. Getting to know you & paying your deposit

Your first step is to review and sign the Nanny Search LLC contract, pay your non-refundable deposit, and complete the family questionnaire. The questionnaire tells us everything we need to know to get started!

2. Posting your job

Once we've reviewed your questionnaire, we'll create a customized job description and begin advertising your position. From there, the search officially begins! There's nothing you need to do during this stage—just sit back and relax.

3. Initial screenings

We begin by connecting with potential candidates through email or messaging before scheduling phone interviews. If a candidate is a strong fit, we move on to reference checks. If not, we simply continue the search.

4. Reference checks

For candidates who stand out, we collect at least two professional references and speak with their previous employers. We'll summarize both the strengths and any potential concerns, then send everything to you along with their candidate profile.

5. Reviewing candidates

We'll keep you updated throughout the search, but this is where it gets exciting! Once references are complete, we'll send you a detailed candidate profile highlighting their experience, strengths, and our overall impressions. You decide who you'd like to interview.

6. Your interview

If you'd like to move forward, we'll provide the candidate's contact information so you can schedule an interview directly. Whether you meet virtually, in a public place, or at home is entirely up to you and the candidate.

7. Follow-up

After each interview, we'll check in to hear your thoughts and discuss next steps. We can present up to four candidate profiles during your search, though they don't always come at the same time. If you find someone you genuinely love, we encourage you to move quickly—our candidates are often interviewing with multiple families.

8. Hiring!

Congratulations! Once you've found the right fit, you'll take it from here by extending the offer and confirming the start date and job expectations. The remaining Finder's Fee balance is due on your nanny's first day of work.

Candidate Clause: We are pleased to offer families up to four carefully selected candidates (nannies/babysitters) during a standard search process. This service aims to connect you with exceptional childcare options while keeping affordability in mind. To ensure the highest quality of screening and vetting, we limit the number of profiles shared per search to four. For details on extending the search process, please visit our pricing page.
