How It Works:

To secure your family's spot as a client of Nanny Search LLC, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of signing the family contract.

If you hire a nanny or sitter through our services, the remaining Finder's Fee of $525 will be due on the nanny's first day of work, bringing the total service fee to $625.

Candidate Clause: During a single search process, we may present up to four candidates (nannies/babysitters) to a family. Due to the extensive time and effort involved in screening and vetting each candidate, the maximum number of candidates is set at four. To connect with more than four candidates, the family will be required to pay an additional non-refundable fee of $100 to extend the search process.

Additional Information:

Including a non-refundable deposit allows us to better devote her time and effort on behalf of serious clients. This also protects Holly in the event that a family hires someone independently. Additionally, this fee helps to cover costs such as a premium Care.com account, one of the main resources that we use to find you a great match!

A signed family contract, agreeing to pay both the non-refundable deposit and the Finder's Fee upon hiring a nanny or sitter through Nanny Search LLC, is required before an official search can begin.

Nanny & Sitter Compensation:

Babysitters and nannies are paid directly by the family. Nanny Search LLC does not handle payroll.

Rush Fee Notice - NEW 2024

Effective January 2024

At Nanny Search LLC, we strive to provide thorough and efficient search services for all our clients. To maintain the quality and reliability of our services, we have implemented a Rush Search Fee policy for expedited requests.

Rush Search Fee

Definition of Rush Search: A rush search is defined as any request that requires completion in a significantly shorter time frame than our standard processing period (3+ weeks). This process will be automatically determined if childcare is needed within 1-3 weeks of starting a search. If you require immediate childcare but prefer to avoid the additional fee, our service may not be the most suitable option for your needs. Thank you for your understanding.
Additional Fee: For all rush search requests, an additional fee of $500 will be applied. This fee is in addition to the standard finder’s fee and any required deposit, making the new total $1,125.
Payment Terms:
- The additional rush fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full on the childcare provider's first day of work, along with the finder's fee.
Service Commitment: While we make every effort to expedite rush searches, the quality of our service remains paramount. We commit to delivering the same high standards and comprehensive results as with our standard search services.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- Please note that not every search will result in a placement. In the event that childcare cannot be delivered within the rush timeframe of 1-3 weeks, no additional charge will be added to the finder's fee.
- If a client cancels a rush search after we have provided candidate options, the family will still be responsible for paying the rush search fee of $500, regardless of whether they hire a nanny through Nanny Search LLC. This policy is in place because the expedited nature of the process requires significant resources. If clients were able to cancel without an additional fee after requesting a rush search, it would hinder our ability to serve all clients effectively. Thank you for understanding!
