The Best Care for Your Child

Nanny / Babysitter Search

Trust me when I say, I feel your pain. Searching for childcare can take weeks of your time and nine times out of ten it's not a great match. So, here's where I step in, I’ll handle all of the small talk and time-consuming steps in the process. I will post your job and use my resources to connect with as many candidates as possible! I will sort through the interested applicants and set up initial interviews to gather more background on the candidates. Then I'll cover job details, expectations, pay, and check their references. If I feel like they are a strong candidate I will then loop you into the conversation and help you set up an official interview. Lastly, after your interview, you'll decide whether or not you'd like to offer the candidate your position. Why trust that I’ll find you someone perfect? I had extremely high expectations for myself and the families I worked for and wouldn’t let anyone else settle for less either!

I service the Philadelphia area, most of New Jersey, and the following PA counties: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery. Still curious? Check out my FAQ or contact me at nannysearch.contact@gmail.com

Match Process

1. Getting to know you & paying your deposit!

Your first step will be to fill out the questionnaire and send it back to Holly. Everything we need to know is answered there. At this time, you will also sign your Nanny Search LLC contract and pay your $50 non-refundable deposit.

2. Posting your job flyer!

We will create a job description for your position after reading through your questionnaire answers. After that, your position will be posted locally and we'll be off to the races! Nothing is required from you at this time, just sit back and relax.

3. Initial screenings begin!

After we chat with candidates via email or messenger, we'll set up a time to speak with them over the phone. If all goes well with their screening call, we move on to checking their references. If the phone conversation isn't great or they do not meet the requirements we move on to the next candidate.

4. Reference checks!

If the initial phone interview shows strong potential, we gather references from the candidate and begin contacting their past employers. References are required to be people that the candidate has worked for. We do not accept family members as references. We note all of the positives and any negatives that are mentioned and send these details to you with the candidate's profile summary.

5. Looping you in!

Throughout this process, we will keep you up to date on how things are going with the search, but this is when it gets exciting! If the references check out, we then put together a profile summary on the candidate, including their experience and highlights! Then, you'll review their details and decide if you'd like to move forward with your own interview.

6. Your interview!

If you choose to move forward with interviewing the candidate, we will pass along the candidate's contact information. You will reach out to them and set up an official interview time that works for both of you. This can be done virtually, in a public place, or at your home. Whatever you're both comfortable with!

7. Follow up!

We ask that you touch base with us after you have interviewed the candidate(s) to go over how things went! At this point, you will also need to let us know if you'd like us to keep searching or if you plan to offer your position to the candidate.

We are able to send up to six candidate profiles during a search, however please keep in mind that they don't always pop up at the same time. You could have one in the first week and three a week later, it's good to keep an open mind but if you feel a strong connection with a candidate we always recommend moving forward with them so you don't miss your chance. Remember, these candidates are actively interviewing with other families too!

8. Hiring!!

Congrats, you made it! We found you a great nanny and you're ready to hire. This is where you fully take over. At this point, you'll be in contact with the candidate and can personally offer the position to them. If they accept, then you're ready to roll. You can set a start date and confirm all official job expectations! If for some reason the candidate can not accept the position, let us know right away and we'll get back to searching right away.

Candidate Clause: Holly may provide up to six candidates (nannies/babysitters) to a family during a single search process. This service is designed to connect families with great childcare options at an affordable cost. Due to the time and effort that goes into screening and vetting each candidate, the maximum number of profiles to share per search is set at six. To see more than six candidates, a family would need to pay an additional non-refundable deposit of $50, with the final Finder's Fee remaining at $450, bringing the new total to $550.
