Finding The Best Childcare for Your Family
Nanny / Babysitter Search
We understand your struggle—searching for childcare can be an incredibly time-consuming process, often resulting in mismatches. That’s where we come in! We’ll take care of the small talk and tedious steps for you. We’ll post your job and leverage our resources to connect with a wide pool of candidates.
Once we’ve sorted through the interested applicants, we’ll conduct initial interviews to gather insights on their backgrounds. We’ll cover essential details like job expectations, pay, and references. If we find a candidate who stands out, we’ll bring you into the conversation and help coordinate an official interview. After your meeting, you’ll have the final say on whether to offer them the position.
Why can you trust us to find the perfect fit for your family? We hold ourselves—and the families we work with—to exceptionally high standards, and we won’t settle for anything less. You deserve the best, and we’re here to deliver!
We proudly serve Philadelphia and the following Pennsylvania counties: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery.

Match Process
1. Getting to know you & paying your deposit!
Your first step will be to review and sign the Nanny Search LLC contract and pay the non-refundable deposit. Next, you'll fill out the family questionnaire and send it back to Holly. Everything we need to know is answered there.
2. Posting your job flyer!
We will create a job description for your position after reading through your questionnaire answers. After that, your position will be posted locally and we'll be off to the races! Nothing is required from you at this time, just sit back and relax.
3. Initial screenings begin!
After we chat with candidates via email or messenger, we'll set up a time to speak with them over the phone. If all goes well with their screening call, we move on to checking their references. If the phone conversation isn't great or they do not meet the requirements we move on to the next candidate.
4. Reference checks!
If the initial phone interview shows strong potential, we gather a minimum of two professional references from the candidate and begin contacting their past employers. We summarize all the positive details and any (potential) negatives that are mentioned and send these details to you with the candidate's profile write-up.
5. Looping you in!
Throughout this process, we will keep you up to date on how things are going with the search, but this is when it gets exciting! If the references check out, we then put together a profile summary on the candidate, including their experience and highlights! Then, you'll review their details and decide if you'd like to move forward with your own interview.
6. Your interview!
If you choose to move forward with interviewing the candidate, we will pass along the candidate's contact information. You will reach out to them and set up an official interview time that works for both of you. This can be done virtually, in a public place, or at your home. Whatever you're both comfortable with!
7. Follow up!
We ask that you touch base with us after you have interviewed the candidate(s) to go over how things went! At this point, you will also need to let us know if you'd like us to keep searching or if you plan to offer your position to the candidate. We are able to send up to four candidate profiles during a search, however please keep in mind that they don't always pop up at the same time. You could have one in the first week and three a week later, it's good to keep an open mind but if you feel a strong connection with a candidate we always recommend moving forward with them so you don't miss your chance. Remember, these candidates are actively interviewing with other families too!
8. Hiring!!
Congrats, you made it! We found you a great nanny and you're ready to hire. This is where you fully take over. At this point, you'll be in contact with the candidate and can personally offer the position to them. If they accept, then you're ready to roll. You can set a start date and confirm all official job expectations! The Finder's Fee balance is due on your nanny/babysitter's first day of work.
If for some reason the candidate can not accept the position, let us know immediately and we'll get back to searching right away.
Candidate Clause: We are pleased to offer families up to four carefully selected candidates (nannies/babysitters) during a single search process. This service aims to connect you with exceptional childcare options while keeping affordability in mind. To ensure the highest quality of screening and vetting, we limit the number of profiles shared per search to four. For details on extending the search process, please visit our pricing page.
At Nanny Search LLC, we prioritize quality over quantity. We only present candidates that we believe are highly qualified and worthy of your consideration. You can trust that we won’t share anyone who doesn’t meet our high standards or isn’t worth your time. Our goal is to connect you with exceptional caregivers who truly align with your family’s needs.
